Drug Eater

From Nechronica Wiki Translation Project

Description[edit]

A severed head augmented with technology and mutations to better serve a designated purpose. They can crawl on insect legs, float on the air or slither on serpent like spines. All of them are able to plug themselves into sundered nervous systems and take control of corpses for a time.

Creating a Drug Eater[edit]

Follow the normal character creation process for Dolls up until Class selection. If Drug Eater is selected as a Class or Subclass, the character becomes a Drug Eater. If Drug Eater is the class choice, then please do the following.

Drug Eater Basic Parts[edit]

The Basic Parts of the Drug Eater change to the following.

Head: Brain, Eyeballs, Jaw, Forced Reprogrammer
Arm: Foot, Prehensile Hair
Body: Spine
Leg: Bone, Drug Eater Blade

The Drug Eater Parts are as follows.

Head
Forced Reprogrammer
Timing: Action Cost: 4 Range: 0
Effect
Gain access to all Parts of a target Savant for eight Counts if all parts in the Savant's Head have been Damaged. The target Savant is still able to perform Manuevers. Actions taken using the Savant's Parts deplete the Drug Eater's Action Points. If the Savant moves to a different Area the Drug Eater moves along with the Savant for no Action Point cost. If the Drug Eater chooses to move away from the Savant using it's own movement Parts this effect ends.
By connecting with a sundered nervous system, the Drug Eater is able to take control of a body. Many Drug Eaters often decapitate their victims then take their bodies.
Head
Prehensile Hair
Timing: Rapid Cost: 0 Range: Self
Effect
Perform one Action as Rapid.
Some Drug Eaters have precise control of even their hair, allowing them to swing from it, grapple others or shape it to better suit their needs.
Leg
Drug Eater Blade
Timing: Action Cost: 2 Range: 0
Effect
Melee Attack 2 + Dismember.
The trailing spine of a Drug Eater often ends in a heavy blade of steel or bone. The incredible flexibility and strength of this spine blade can strike off limbs and heads with a single lash of the tail.

With the Basic Parts added, please proceed with applying the Reinforcement points and Skills as normal.

Skills[edit]

Name Timing Cost Range
Baser Instincts Check 0 Self

Name Timing Cost Range
Flying Type Auto None Self
Effect Gain the Drug Eater Wings part. This is treated as a Basic Part.
Description Some Drug Eaters were created with the express intention to fly. With mutated wings, bloated sacks of air or gravity defying technology, the Drug Eater swims easily through the air.
Head
Drug Eater Wings
Timing: Action Cost: 2 Range: Self
Effect
Move 1.
The Drug Eater is already a perversion of technology. Allowing it to defy gravity only adds to it's grotesque nature.

Name Timing Cost Range
Tail Whip Check 1 0-1
Effect Hinder 2.
Description The spine the Drug Eater slithers upon carries surprising strength and flexibility.
Name Timing Cost Range
Destructive Exit Auto None Self
Effect When Forced Reprogrammer ends, you may choose to force the body you are exiting to break 4 parts. The target chooses what parts are broken.
Description Even without their heads, many powerful Undead continue to tear and claw at the intruding Drug Eater's attempts to conquer their body. A well embedded Drug Eater wrenching itself free from a body will cause catastrophic internal and external damage as it escapes.

Name Timing Cost Range
Ravenous Parasite Auto None Self
Effect When Forced Reprogrammer is used, you may break one part of the target to repair one of your parts of your choosing. The target chooses what part gets broken.
Description Absorbing nutrients from their host with their tail or even just using their jaws to devour flesh, Drug Eaters greedily plunder all that the stolen body can offer them.

Name Timing Cost Range
Unsuitable Hosts Damage 0 Self
Effect You may only use this Maneuver when you deal damage to Horrors or Legions. Add +2 to the damage for an Attack.
Description Frail and stunted Undead offer little comfort to the Drug Eater. While desperate Drug Eaters have been seen planting themselves in the corpses of animals and monsters, many sincerely desire a humanoid body to call their own.
